How did you advocate for your association this session? Advocacy has changed dramatically in recent years, and understanding how you can effectively work with legislators under the gold dome will help your association thrive next session. Join the GSAE Communications Shared Interest Group and Government Affairs Shared Interest Group for “Demystifying Georgia Advocacy”  with Catie Ramp, MBA, MPA, AE-MBA, President & CEO, and Seth Daniels, Director of Government Affairs, with the Georgia Senior Living Association as they discuss their experience this session, the ways your association can build relationships with legislators, and how you can effectively communicate with our elected officials.

****Please note, the Commission has announced a CAE Registered Provider Program with additional criteria to meet as of April 2024. We believe this program qualifies for 1 CAE credit for your qualification to sit for the exam or your CAE renewal.

CAE Registered Provider Logo

GSAE is a CAE Registered Provider. Every program that we offer that is pre-approved and which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accord with CAE policies. For more information about the CAE credential or program, please visit www.asaecenter.org/cae. As a CAE Approved Provider of educational program related to the CAE exam content outline at this time, we believe this Communications Shared Interest Group (SIG) and Government Relations Shared Interest Group (SIG) crossover program may be applied for 1.0 credit toward your CAE application or renewal of professional development requirements under CAE Domain 7: Advocacy.

Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with ASAE or the CAE program. Applicants may use any program that meets eligibility requirements in the specific time frame towards the exam application or renewal. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.
