GSAE's wine + webinars: Sound Succession Planning is a Talent Pipeline Imperative
Wednesday, August 28, 2024 5:00-6:00 pm ET Via Zoom (credentials sent upon registration) 1 CAE credit pre-approved by Commission Open to GSAE members and our local SAE colleagues
For those of you unable to attend Jim’s webinar in April, we are thrilled to bring his executive search insights to the wine + webinars Shared Interest Group (SIG). Sound succession planning is vital to aligning talent with organizational needs and ensuring continuity in the event of a sudden departure or other disruption. Furthermore, good governance demands it. Yet relatively few organization leaders consider themselves adept succession planners. In fact, Deloitte has reported that while 86 percent of leaders acknowledge succession planning is an “urgent” or “important” priority, just 14 percent think they do it well. Regardless of staff size and resources, association leaders can and should prioritize succession planning. Join us to explore why succession planning is particularly important today and in celebrating all the August wine days from Prosecco to Pinot Noir! We are excited to see what everyone has in their glass.
